"HAVE YOU CHECKED THE BIKE FOREST"

A personal soliloquy.

A testimony of my experience exalting the ordinary, looking deeper, and having a heart open to magic.

This collection is inspired by my time creating at free cycles, an incredible community bike shop here in missoula mt. Grounded in the principles of reciprocity, free cycles believes that we all have the right to move freely and safely in an unpolluted world.

Many moments I’ve spent walking the grounds of the bike forest looking for leftover treasures, meditating in the bike dome, and scouring the borders for parts long lost. It’s here that time slows down. There’s a mellow hum that lingers over the forest, you can’t help but be pierced. 

This collection of jewelry is inspired by the magical and fantastical creatures I imagine in the forest. Protecting and preserving its sacred nature. 

The forest whispers for me to explore the desolate places within myself. To pick the pieces from the ground and put them together to set them free. 

This jewelry is a manifestation of my journey healing my broken parts and exploring my stored trauma. It’s by slowing down you can begin to examine the rubble to reassemble. 

Brimber believes in self expression as a route towards healing and aims to create more spaces where people are free to explore their artistry. I consider all my art forms to be languages that allow me to process my complex emotions.
